Thorek stepped through the portal as the bird flew through it. "Where ye leadin' me, bird...?" Thorek said as he saw it fly into the Inn. Thorek followed after it as he saw it flutter outside of a door squaking and scratching at it with its talons. "Wha's in thar, bird? Somethin' tha need ta be killed?" Thorek moved in front of the door and opened it cautiously...

As Mantarayce approached Asilinaar he watched as the raven flew towards the inn. Mantarayce followed it knowing without a doubt that whom ever had sent the raven was inside. As he approached the door to the inn he noticed that there was a blood trail in the dirt. someone in the inn is hurt...and badly thought Mantarayce, i must help them if i can
pushing through the door Mantarayce swiftly crossed to the inn keeper and inquired about the injured person. the inn keeper directed him to a room down the hall in front of which was a dwarf who looked like it was ready to barge in hammer swinging. Mantarayce started walking towards the dwarf and the door.........

Silvanosheii arrived in Asilinaar and began to walk towards the inn at a pace that told passerbys that he had somewhere to be and didnot wish to be delayed in getting there
As Silvanosheii walked into the inn he glanced quickly around him, taking in his surroundings in a glance.....a few drunks, a couple that stopped by for dinner, a dreanei priest talking to the innkeeper, a dwarf about to bash his way into a room.....all of this in a quick glance. already knowig from the raven which room to go to silvanosheii started towards the dwarf and the door which he was about to bash at the same instant as the dreanei......

Rasitlinm upon arriving in Asilinaar, started towards the inn as it was the most likely place to find whom ever had sent the raven to find him. as he approached the inn he noticed a young druid entering the inn. something familiar about that elf rasitlinm thought to him self as he headed toward the same door that the elf had gone through moments ago. as he entered the room he noticed that the elf was headed towards a room while a dreanei was headed towards the same room....and a dwarf appeared about to enter that room..by force.....thinking that this would most likely be his reason for coming he also started towards the room.....

Ularitharion woke some time later. His body still screamed for rest after the exertions, and weary muscles creaked and groaned as he arose from the bed where he had slept. Sunlight peered in at him through a window. How long have I slept? he wondered vaguely, before banishing the thought from his mind. For less time than needed, and for longer than I can afford. He entered the main room of the inn, nodding to the yawning proprietor, and cast an eye around. None of the Shield had arrived yet, and there was no sign of Sherazhina. The druid left the inn, enjoying the sensation of grass tickling the soles of his bare feet. Behind the inn was a bucket - Ularitharion picked it up, and then stepped a few further feet, to the banks of a stream lazily wending its way through the town. He stood up, and splashed the water over himself. Bitterly cold, it refreshed the exhaused kaldorei like nothing else he knew. He returned to the inn and gave the barkeeper a few coins, before taking a seat at the table. Normally he would have hunted the forests around Asilinaar for his food, but he was tired and famished. Shortly thereafter, a bowl of exotic fruits was bought to him. Ularitharion sighed at the overly elaborate fare, but ate with fervour and enjoyment, his appetite large. Finishing swiftly, he called for seconds and waited for the others to begin to arrive...

Thorek bashed down the door with his large iron boot. Discovereing nothing but a bed with a little blood on it, he went back downstairs only to discover his guildmaster wrapped in bandages, staring at the door. "Archwarden..?" Thorek said as he saw him. "Were ye tha one tha' sen' tha bird?"

Ularitharion raised his head, fork half-way to his mouth, and brushed an errant lock of white hair from his face. "Master Thorek?" he asked, hoping he got the name right. Dwarves all looked alike to him - a big tangled mass of beard. "I did."

Thorek eyed the bandages covering most of his Guildmaster. "Wha' happened ta ye? Run into an Orc? Here, lemme try ta heal ya as best I can." Thorek began to cast a few healing spells. "Looks like yer face go' tha brunt o' i'."

Ularitharion raised an eyebrow. "My face is uninjured," he said, before realising the dwarf had made another snide joke at his expense. He rolled his eyes. At that moment, liquid warmth flowed into him, filling his limbs with a new life. Tense muscles relaxed, and injuries began to knit themselves together again. Some of the headache that had been plaguing him for as long as he could remember faded. "Thank you," the druid said sincerely, feeling better than he had in a long time. "Have you eaten? I'll explain once some of the others arrive - I can sense them dimly, drawing closer and closer."

The dark, misty air of Duskwood hung heavily over the ill-maintained cobbled road between Darkshire and Raven Hill, a road Lander had travelled many times previously. It was 1:00 in the afternoon, and as dark as late evening for Light's sake, thought Lander venomously. She had thought this way about Duskwood since first arriving over a week ago. Her friend and adventuring companion, Fevrier, was off tending to business at Stormwind City, leaving her to this measily errand for Commander Ebonlocke of the Night Watch.
As she trodded down the lonely road, a large raven flew down toward her, squawking furiously. There were many ravens in Duskwood, but few behaved this oddly; most were scared of larger creatures (a wise policy in a place like this); and few were as large as this one either.
Curious as to this one's oddity, she let it fly onto her hand. Immediately, it grabbed at her finger, flapping furiously, as though trying to lead her somewhere. This was certainly strange, thought, Lander. She had to find someone who could speak to this insistent bird.
With that thought, she head back to Darkshire (Ebonlocke's errand would have to wait) intent on flying to Stormwind City to find one of the migrant druids who had taken up residence there...

Loch Modan was a world of rain, mud, and misery and Adana fought her way through a den of angry Troggs. They pelted her with throwing axes and wailed on her with clubs, but her swift sword, stout chainmail, and devout resolve, as well as the power of the Light, proved more than a match for the filthy beasts.
Upon downing the last in a foul camp, she looked up into the rain-filled, cloudy sky and saw a large raven headed right at her. She held her sword as if to block the dive, but it swooped and onto her shoulder. It squawked and cawed madly, and she got the impression it wanted her to follow it.
Remembering the words of some of the druids of the Veridian Shield, she thought it could be a messenger, as such birds were used by them. Thus, having done her work in Stonesplinter Valley, she followed the bird in the direction of Dun Morgh...

Arday Greentree was by the Moonwell in Dolaanar wondering what to do this crisp morning when a large raven flew up to her and sat next to her on the stone bench. Seeing it carried a message, the young druid simply asked what it had been sent to say. Upon hearing the response, she immediately picked up her bag and staff and headed to Rut'theran Village, intent on catching the first ship to the mainland.

It had been a hard day for Durad Paro in Goldshire. He'd been beaten in a fisticuffs by a young thief he was sure was a closet Defias in the Lion's Pride Inn. If he could prove the rogue's allegiance, there'd be a bounty on his head that could pay for his next few meals. As a bounty hunter, he lived for that, though turning in the heads of lowly Defias paid the bills at the moment.
As he mulled over his ale and contemplated what to do next, he saw a raven fly in a window, obviously opened for some reason the previous night and never shut, and perch on his table.
He tried to shoo it away, but it vigorously tried to land on him. Having recently joined a guild headed by a Night Elf druid who dealt in wildlife as his agents, he became curious.
'We'll take you to see a druid in Stormwind,' he said, surprised he was talking to a bird. Strangely, it seemed to agree and flapped off after him up the road.

After a dangerous and harrowing journey through the forests of Northern Kalimdor, Maryla reached Asilinaar with, she hoped, time to spare. She looked around the Night Elf town and located the inn, the most likely meeting place, by the customary mailbox outside. As she entered, she noticed the inn was busier than usual, with familar faces for a large part, in fact, and had the feeling it was going to get busier...

Asdrius Leftpaw was sitting in the Park of Stormwind City, tending a patch of mushrooms, when he noticed three Humans, all with the same tabard, but coming from different directions and seemingly all unaware of each, though each with a Kalimdorian raven flapping by them, headed right for him. As they arrived, they suddenly realized they knew each other from a shared guild and were here for the same purpose.
Patiently, the old druid raised an eyebrow as the blonde, regal-looking woman spoke, 'Master Druid,' she said, 'we all seem to have a message from these ravens. Can you be so kind as to interpret?'
'Yes, I believe some of our friends, notably other druids, may be in trouble,' said the sturdy brunette woman, obviously a priestess of the Light.
'We'll pay you,' said the heavily built, armored, dark man grimly.
'No need for payment,' said Asdrius calmly. 'The birds were sent by an Ularitharion Moonstone and urge you meet him in Asilinaar as soon as possible.'
'To the mage's tower,' said the blonde noblewoman quickly, 'I can secure us a portal.'
With that they headed off.

Ghurtag had never thought of himself as a defector. He had always been the runt of Orc packs, becoming a hunter by sheer dedication and spite. After being captured by the Night Elves after a failed Horde raid on Asilinaar, however, his life changed forever. He began to have respect for his captors, slowly learning their language and earning their trust. He was let out of his cage and put to work tending the woods with the Keldorai hunters, and, over time, became an integral, if odd to outsiders, part of Asilinaar's community. He knew nowhere else in the Alliance, not even another Night Elf community, would tolerate him, and the Horde wouldn't have him back. Thus, sadly, Asilinaar and it's surrounding woods were his guilded cage.
This day, however, as he was cleaning deer carcases left over from Goblin poaching, he noticed quite a commotion by the inn and went to investigate...
((This is my Orc hunter from another server. The backstory fits him in in a unique way, I think. Let me know what you think))

"Yeah, I know." Thorek said after the guildmaster stated that his face was uninjured. He smirked at the small joke he made and said "Yeah, I've eaten. Speakin' o' tha', yer bird signal be so annoyin' tha I chased i' ta Ironforge 'cause I was gonna cook i'. I suppose i's better than a bear or a crocolisk signal."

"Well, it worked, didn't it?" the druid said calmly, and took another mouthful of the too-exquisite starfruit. He stopped, raising his head to sniff the air tentatively, seekin some elusive scent. "Others are here now. We'll be getting on to business soon."

"I hope so. Ye Nigh' Eleves brew too weak ale fer me tastes." Thorek took a seat near his guildmaster and stared at the door. "How many did ye send fer, Archwarden?" Thorek said as he pulled out a small cloth and began polishing his beastplate.

Mantarayce was only a few feet from the door when the dwarf smashed it in with his boot. Fading into the shoadows he moved in behind the Dwarf and saw that the room was indeed empty. slowly lookng around the room as the dwarf left Mantarayce deicded that whomever had been in the room was going to come back. this conclusion reached mantarayce followed the dwarf down the stairs to find some food, passing an elf and human that both looked familar but whom he could not place.
Reaching the bottom of the stairs he looked around for the inn keeper and saw the dwarf whom he now recognized as Thorek talking with an elf though covered in bandages didnt seem wounded. "i know that elf......" thought Mantarayce "Archwarden Ularitharion!" He said as he walked over to the pair "you look like you got in a fight with a briarthorn patch...and the thorns won"

Silvanosheii after seeing the dreanei come out of the same room as the dwarf didnt bother looking into the room but turned around at the top of the stairs and headed back down after the dreanei...."Mantarayce...thats who that was.....and Thorek.....but where is Ularitharion?" thought Silvanosheii as he brushed pass the mage barely noticeing him.....
Reaching the bottom of the stairs he glanced in the direction of Mantarayce and Thorek. "there he is" Silvanosheei mumbled to himself as he crossed the floor over to the trio.

"d**n elf" Rasitlinm mumbled to himself as Silvanosheii brushed past him rudely..."well i guess that room is empty if they keep coming out of it" Raistlinm thought "No use climbing the rest of the stairs" turning around he heard Mantarayce saying "Archwarden Ularitharion!......." quickly Raistlin moved to the bottom of the stairs and looked in the direction of Mantarayce and followed Silvanosheii over to the table where Ularitharion and Thorek sat.......

Ularitharion bowed his head to the newcomers as they began to stream in to the inn. The few spare seats were swiftly taken. "Worse than briarthorn," the druid said. "There's still a few more coming, I think. We'll wait a little longer until I explain why I summoned you."

Thorek- ignoring the look he got from the barkeep- pulled out a rather large flask and began to drink from it. The Elves had weak and unfavorable brews and Thorek always kept a few flasks of brandy with him. They made decent improvised weapons and they tasted great. He belched very loudly after his long drink.

Ularitharion wrinkled his nose in distaste as the dwarf belched, sending a wave of his pungeant breath over the kaldorei. He sighed, and reminded himself that he needed the dwarf. As the stink spread and became gradually stronger with each sip Thorek took, the druid found it harder and harder to focus on this...
