In this thread, you'll apply to be a member of the Story Team. Here's where I really want quality control, so here's the drill: Everyone who wants in must post a little blurb explaining their qualifications. Experience does count! I'll winnow the applicants down to the ones I like the most, and then I'll start an anonymous poll as to whether someone should be part of the story team. The top five people at the end of all of this will get the new rank of loremaster and a snazzy private forum in which to work out the guild's lore and rpgs! And, because we're all equal, I'll post my qualifications to be first loremaster. I've been writing since I was three, though not very advanced stuff back then . I've been roleplaying since I was eight. I've won creative writing competitions. I've been storyline consultant for the largest Warhammer High Elves site on the internet. I've received heaps of praise for fanfictions I've written, and still do for some that I wrote years ago. I've been in the official online Legend of the Five Rings rpg, and got official recognition for my actions in the main storyline. Two other WoW guilds consult me for knowledge of the official lore already. And I'm probably missing something.

Well, mine will not be as impressive as yours, but here goes. I am an aspiring novelist with four novels written but none published. I mainly focus on fantasy/horror and am very good at plotlines and twists. I read a lot, my friends say too much. I write short stories as well, but I don't try to get those published; I just write those for fun and to see if they will actually lead into a novel. My friends who have read my books said that they liked it and that I could be a great horror novelist, which is indeed one of my top aspiriations.

Yola, ok so what qualfies me to be on the story team....... My shpeal wont be as oooing and aaahing as Thorek's but its mildly impressive.. I've ran one guild with a stable story line, I've helped write character stories for multiple characters (mine and other peoples). I'm a writer like a lot of people here I base my stories on RL events from either myself or other people. Hopefully Bella and I will finish up our story we're writeing together for our characters soon and post it, but if you want to see some of my character story work get on the horde side and look me up on Shintro and I'll come to you so you can see my FlagRSP2 post.

I am a writer of fantasy/scifi, though, like Thorek, never published. I have a number of well-developed settings, including a comprehensive D&D setting, several well-developed scifi settings, a non-D&D fantasy setting of significant detail, and a series of peripheral Star Wars fan fiction based around my own characters and planets interwined in the SW Galaxy. All six of my WoW characters are 'alternate incarnations' of characters from one or another of those settings. I have close to a 15mb folder full of Word docs with background and short stories. Thanks.

Well most of my qualifications come from my literary background, and my knowledge of lore. I've read/ rp'd a great deal ( all lore accurate) over the past three years, and so in that way I find myself rather competent to create a guild back story and surrounding lore- cohesive plot- arc from which to build and grow as a guild.
I consider myself spectacularly literate (modest too!), owing my love of poetry to Whitman, T.S. Elliot, Keats, and Byron.
I've been writing and composing poetry since I was old enough to read, and reading to satiate my voracity for books since I can remember.

Well I wouldn't say I'm a novelist or anything, I write short stories when I get the urge, I rp a good amount, and I have fun reading fantasy, Robert Jordan being my favorite author, and as the party leader of a D&D campaign, but it isn't my literary prowess that I think I can bring to the team. I pride myself on lore knowledge and continuity, and I try to maintain the continuity of any RP I participate in with that of the surrounding world, (In this case the lore of Warcraft). I think that I would like to be part of this team in order to maintain fluidity, coherence and continuity within the story.

Story Team applications are closed. The Loremasters are - myself, Avier, Adana, Vyous, and Leszi!
